No Deal for Pipeline Construction for Transfer of Oil from Iraqi Kurdistan Region to Iran

Ministry of Petroleum announced on Tuesday that it had reached no agreement for construction of pipeline for transfer of crude oil from Iraqi Kurdistan region to Iranian territory.
Following reports that Iran and Iraqi Kurdistan region had agreed on construction of two pipelines for transfer of oil. Ministry of Petroleum of Iran rejected the issue.
The Petroleum Ministry statement said any decision on the issue will depend on next week visit of Iranian minister of Petroleum Bijan Zangeneh to Iraq and his talks with Iraqi officials. `So. any stances taken on the issue will be untrue prior to the visit and the talks.`
Due to restrictions in Iraqi oil exports terminals. Iraqi officials have held talks for transfer of crude of Iraq and of Kurdistan region to Iran.
Iraq is willing to export its oil in the forms of swap or transit to the target markets via Iran. On this basis. Iraqi Kurdistan regions oil will be transferred to Iran via pipeline and will be delivered in Kharg or Jask terminals.
Of course. talks between the two countries have not been finished and the details are not yet finalized.
