Egyptian Delegation Visits Iraq to Compensate for Saudi Oil

The Egyptian Ministry of Petroleum announced that an oil delegation will visit Iraq next February. to approve the final draft of for the crude oil import agreement.
The spokesman for the Egyptian Ministry of Petroleum Hamdi Abdel Aziz. has said in a statement. that the visit is a part of several procedures. until the completion of the final agreement. which was agreed upon in Cairo. during the visit of Iraqi Oil Minister to Cairo on the sidelines of the OAPEC conference. last December. Badr News reported. 
The Spokesman confirmed that the delegation will visit Iraq to agree on supplying Egypt with crude oil and the negotiation on the contract’s final draft.
It is expected to the agreement to be completed during the next two months. as Egypt is seeking to import one million barrels per month of Iraqi crude oil.
The Saudi company of “Aramco” has stopped supplying Egypt with petroleum products since last October. despite the existence of a $ 23 billion agreement obliges the Saudi Company to supply 700 thousand tons per month to Egypt for a period of five years.
