“US claims that recent launch of a military satellite by Iran was a violation of 2231 UNSC resolution. Wrong interpretation. Double standards and hypocrisy,” he wrote on his official Twitter account.
As Iran’s first military satellite, “Noor” satellite was successfully launched from two-stage carrier named “Qassed” on Wednesday by the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps and was put into the orbit at an altitude of 425km.
