Iran to Put 250 Huge Energy Projects on Stream by Yearend

Iranian Energy Minister Reza Ardakanain said that 250 major water and electricity projects will become operational by the end of the current Iranian calendar year (March 20, 2021).
Ardakanian said that according to a major program called “A-B-Iran” [in Farsi the acronyms A and B stand for water and electricity respectively], 250 mega projects will be inaugurated in the water and electricity sector by March 2021.
In relevant remarks in early May, he said that based on a major plan the ministry will open energy projects worth 500 trillion rials (nearly $11.9 billion) in several provinces by the end of March, 2021.
He made the remarks in Markazi province where he inaugurated six hydroelectric projects on May 5 through video conference.
