Generation of electricity at the 1st phase of Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant in southern Iran has hit 50 billion kWh, head of Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) announced on Sunday.
Based on the preliminary studies, Iran can obtain 8,000 MW of from the nuclear power, Mohammad Eslami said according to website of the Iranian Majlis (Parliament).
About the latest situation of Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant, the AEOI chief said the first phase is in production phase while the second and third phases are still under construction.
Eslami also referred to financial issues as the main problem for completion of these two phases.
