Iran’s ambassador to India said in New Delhi on Friday that Tehran is ready to sell oil to India and deliver it at desired destination.
“We are, just as always, ready for further expansion of economic ties India, such as delivering crude oil at any desired destination, and decision making in this regard is up to New Delhi, although we know that the United States creates obstacles in this respect,” said Ambassador Iraj Elahi in an interview with ANI news agency.
The US Secretary of Treasury has during the past decades on various pretexts, including economic war against Iran, which continued during the tenure of President Joe Biden, despite his motto of preferring diplomacy in dealing with Iran, interfered in Iran’s foreign trade, including its recent new sanction against some Iranian foundations and personalities.
The American office has also claimed that the new list of sanctions include some fake personalities and companies.
