Iranian Minister of Petroleum Bijan Zanganeh said that Iran would return to the markets swiftly when US sanctions were lifted, regardless of the decisions made by the producer group.
The 18th meeting of oil and energy ministers of member and non-member producers of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC), a coalition known as OPEC+, ended on Friday.
After the 18th session of the OPEC+ meeting, Zanganeh said to the reporters on Friday that at the meeting, he had announced that whenever the sanctions were lifted, Iran would return to the market and reach at least the production prior to the sanctions in the shortest possible time
The OPEC+ members are scheduled to meet again through video-conferencing on Monday, July 5.
