Libyan Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dbeibeh and his Yemeni counterpart Ahmed bin Mubarak discussed energy cooperation between the countries.
A Libyan government statement said the two leaders dwelt on the establishment of new partnerships and cooperation between the countries in the field of energy.
During a phone call, the “regional developments, opening new horizons for partnerships between the two countries on energy, activating cooperation agreements and revitalizing Libya’s investments in Yemen” were discussed, according to the statement.
Dbeibeh, the prime minister of the Government of National Unity of Libya, assured his counterpart of every step towards ensuring the security and stability of the Yemeni people.
According to Yemen’s official news agency SABA, Mubarak emphasized his country’s determination to strengthen cooperation with Libya, especially in the realm of economy.
