The Libyan National Oil Corporation (NOC), headed Mustafa Sanallah, discussed in a meeting in Milan with Italian oil firm, Eni, plans to upgrade (A and H) offshore gas fields: two strategic fields that follow agreements of exploration projects and sharing production and operation, which includes Mellitah Oil and Gas Company.
Project engineering work was presented at the meeting, in addition to specifics about Bahr Al-Salam gas field and the timeline for the projects as well as the needed funds.
The meeting saw reiteration on the need for financial support for the projects as delays could negatively impact getting the work done on schedule, especially finishing the plans, contracts of equipment and other vital factors.
