OPEC+ Ministers Hold Virtual Meeting Amid Insane Oil Market

Several oil and energy ministers of the OPEC–non-OPEC oil producing countries, signatories of the Declaration of Cooperation, held an informal teleconference to brainstorm the current dramatic oil market situation.

The participants of the crunch virtual meeting welcomed the initiative of Algeria’s Minister of Energy and President of the OPEC Conference HE Mohamed Arkab to hold this informal teleconference on the current dramatic market situation.

The ministers commended the decision taken during the 10th OPEC non-OPEC (Extraordinary) Ministerial video-conference held on 12 April.

They also reiterated their commitment to the oil production adjustment reached during that video-conference.

They also called on HE Mohamed Arkab to continue holding such consultations on the market situation on a regular basis.
