Saudi Aramco maintained its second position as the world’s most valuable oil and gas brand in 2021, with a value of $37.5 billion, compared to $46.77 billion in 2020, according to Brand Finance.
The annual report on the most valuable brands in the oil and gas sector found that the world’s top 50 oil and gas brands lost 16% of their brand value on average due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the decline in oil prices.
Shell topped the list, with a $42.16 billion value in 2021, compared to $47.53 billion in 2020. PetroChina took third place with a $31.42 billion value for the current year, compared to $38.03 billion in 2020.
Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) came in the 10th place on the list with a $10.76 billion value, compared to $11.39 billion in 2020.
