Iran-Iraq Non-Oil Exports has Upward Trend

Deputy Minister of Industry. Mine and Trade Mojtaba Khosrowtaj said on Saturday that Iran-Iraq ties have always had an upward trend. as 14 percent of Iranian non-oil exports are shipped to Iraq.

Addressing a meeting of Iranian and Iraqi chambers of commerce. he added that the government is due to open a line of credit worth three billion dollars for presence of economic activists in Iraq.

Khosrowtaj. also doubles as the head of Iran Trade Development Organization. said that legal aspects of line of credit for exports to Iraq should be clear so that presence of the Iranian businessmen in Iraq would face the least risk.
