Over 5.9 million tons of goods worth over 2.4 billion dollars were exported from the customs offices of Kermanshah province in western Iran to other countries in the first ten months of the current Iranian calendar year (March 21, 2025-January 20, 2026), a provincial official says.
Speaking to IRNA on Tuesday, the Inspector of the Kermanshah Customs and the Director-General of the province’s Customs, Reza Nik-Ravesh said that the volume of exports represent a 6% decline in weight and a 13% drop in value compared to the same period last year.
During this period, Khosravi Customs, with exports worth 776 million dollars weighing over 1.6 million tons, claimed the largest share, followed by Parvizkhan Customs with exports worth over 654 million dollars weighing over 1.6 million tons in second place, he added.
Sumar Customs, with exports worth 555 million and 41 thousand dollars, weighing over 1.4 million tons, ranks the third among the province’s customs in terms of both export weight and value, he noted.
The share of Sheikh Seleh Customs from the total 10-month exports has been over 354 million dollars, the official said.
This amount of goods, weighing 529,000 tons, is the share of Sheikh Seleh, and the share of Shushmi Customs is 39 million dollars worth, weighing 418,000 tons.
The main exported goods through the province’s customs include steel ingots, ribbed reinforcement bars, rolled plastic nylon, tomatoes, chemical fertilizer, marble stone, powdered milk, and tiles, he stated.
