Iran’s Min. of Energy is planning to launch new power plants with more than 3800MW of capacity until next summer to add 34TWh of electricity to its current production of above 300 TWh.in a bid to further increase its power export to neighboring countries.

About 4.171 billion kilowatt hour amounts of clean energy have so far been generated by renewable resources in Iran. according to the Ministry of Energy.

The interconnector. scheduled to be completed by 2024. is expected to considerably enhance the stability and reliability of Moldova’s electricity supply.

Iranian Energy Minister Reza Ardakanian said that his country has sealed a new agreement with Turkey to increase the volume of electricity exports to its neighboring country. adding that Tehran and Ankara will resume electricity swap.

Cooperation with neighboring countries including Pakistan. Turkmenistan and Iraq in the field of electricity provides Iran with a special opportunity.
