Zohr was discovered by Eni in August of 2015 and. with a total potential of 850 billion cubic meters of gas in place. is the largest natural gas field ever discovered in the Mediterranean.

Bangladesh plands a third LNG-import venture on Moheshkhali. at Matabari. Power Cell is offering a 60% stake in this land-based. 3.5 mta project.

The project is worth about $250 million. The entire amount is paid by local companies.

The sixth refinery is included in phases 15 and 16 of the South Pars complex. The South Pars. by far the world'.s largest natural gas field. is a natural-gas condensate field located in the Persian Gulf.

Some in Europe have attempted to delay the pipeline in fear of geopolitical turmoil.

Iran and Iraq initially signed an agreement in 2013 based on which the Islamic Republic would export natural gas to power stations around Baghdad through a 270-kilometer pipeline.
