Microsoft and Halliburton today detailed plans for a strategic alliance which will help drive digital transformation across the oil and gas industry.

Valemon is a gas and condensate field in the northern sector of the North Sea. just west of Kvitebjørn. The field has been developed using a fixed production platform. Production began in 2015.

In 2016. SOCAR produced 7.52 million tons of oil from Azerbaijan’s offshore and onshore fields. as compared to 8.16 million tons in 2015.

Exploration well 15 6-14 S. which Statoil has now received consent to drill. is to be drilled as a sidetrack from existing well 15 6-B-2.

The new deal extends the contract from 95 days up to a total of 140 days.

In 2015 Schlumberger agreed to buy 45.65% of EDC for $1.7 billion but the deal fell through after FAS repeatedly postponed its approval.

According to Unit. the production expected from the unnamed Iranian gas field is 1.5 times the 50 billion cubic meters of gas imported each year by Turkey.

SOCAR produced 3.71 million tons of oil from Azerbaijan’s offshore and onshore fields in January-June 2017. as compared to 3.78 million tons in the same period of 2016.

Maersk Oil exploration costs are now expected to be below the 2016 level’s of $223million.

JOG and CIECO hold 18% and 12% interest in the P.2170 Licence respectively.
