Tehran'.s dependence on oil export revenues has dropped to below 30 percent.

Iranian Oil Minister Bijan Namdar Zanganeh said that the Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) has tasked the Foreign Ministry with holding talks with European countries on Tehran’s oil exports to the bloc.

Products worth $16.5 billion were exported through the gates of the customs department of the Southern Iranian province of Hormuzgan in the last Persian calendar year (ended on March 20). of which $2.7 billion were the goods produced in the province.

Iranian Energy Minister Reza Ardakanian and his Russian counterpart Alexander Novak. in a telephone conversation. examined the latest status of the joint projects of the two countries in areas of energy cooperation.

Iraq is playing a role to calm the situation but it is not a mediation.

Oil prices have rose by more than 30 percent this year.

Partnership among the OPEC+ nations should include issues of joint investments and technological cooperation.

For Russia. the full-compliance option would be less attractive. adding just several dozens of barrels to the average daily output.

Producers are capable of filling any market gap and that relaxing supply cuts is not the right decision.

Tensions in the Middle East continue to risk secure supply of oil from the region to the global market.
