Sri Lankan Energy Minister Udaya Gammanpila emphasized developing bilateral cooperation with Iran.
Speaking in a meeting with CEO of Tehran Oil Refining Company Hamed Armanfar, Gammanpila referred to Tehran-Colombo common interests, expressed satisfaction over bilateral cooperation, and stressed the importance of maintaining technical, engineering, and economic interactions in oil and gas field.
Meanwhile, Armanfar presented a report of the quality of products, Tehran Oil Refining Company activities, and its 14-percent share in Iranian oil refinery industry.
He added that the Sri Lankan delegation was provided with technical knowledge and suggestions.
He also expressed Tehran Oil Refining Company readiness for establishing technical, engineering, and trade cooperation.
